Radio Host / Producer

Wednesday: 4pm - 5pm

Hugo, originally hailing from Zamora, Michoacán, is the seventh of eight siblings. In 1986, at the age of 18, he set out for California, ultimately landing in the Fresno area. His early years in California saw him working in the agricultural fields from 1986 to 1988. However, it was in 1988 when the twists of fate led him to Redwood City, where he took his first job at McDonald's. Subsequently, he found employment in various restaurants and a golf club that provided housing, all while he pursued English language studies at the College of San Mateo.

During his time at the College of San Mateo, Hugo developed a keen interest in the real estate field. He completed 12 courses in this subject, ultimately solidifying his conviction that this was his destined career path.

In 1993, Hugo earned his real estate license, embarking on a career dedicated to assisting Hispanic families in achieving their American dream. Recognizing the community's need for information in this domain, Hugo started sharing his knowledge. In 2003, he began informing the community on La Kaliente 1370 AM, participating in the sports program alongside Carlos Cesar Rivera. In addition to real estate news, he discussed soccer, particularly his team, the Pumas.

Amid the mortgage crisis in 2008, Hugo initiated his own radio program, "Propiedades en La Bahía." His objective was to keep the community informed during this challenging period. While many companies faced adversity and disappeared, Hugo's program only gained strength, demonstrating his commitment to the community.

Hugo's journey continues to be marked by success, and he stands as one of the most accomplished agents in the Bay Area. His enduring association with the Kaliente family spans 12 years, a testament to his dedication and expertise in the field.
